Provide computer and academic support to students with a primary focus on proficiency in basic skills, Internet use, email, Microsoft Office, My Ivy & Ivy Learn needed in conjunction with subject specific knowledge.
Essential Functions:
- Assists students in the general use of computers.
- Guides students in the use of software programs and/or web-based applications directly related to Ivy Tech coursework.
- Maintains contact records for each student.
- Provides individualized and group support that empowers students to become independent, successful learners.
- Direct students to various departments to address additional support needs as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with college students
- Strong verbal and interpersonal skills
- Possess a working understanding of college level skills needed by students
- Computer literacy and knowledge in word processing programs required
