Description
This position is for students at Life University only.
The graduate assistant coach will be responsible for many administrative and field responsibilities related to the women’s soccer program. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, managing and implementing the activities associated with running an NAIA soccer program.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Coach in clearly understanding the operational plan for the soccer team.
- Participate in meetings with the coaching staff, athletic trainers, and University staff to ensure coherent communication throughout the organization.
- Assist with recruitment activities for student athletes.
- Help with practice planning and implementation, as well as attend practices to help with player development and coaching.
- Work with department administrators in respective areas to ensure the soccer student-athletes are meeting their responsibilities.
- Facilitate the code of conduct for student-athletes.
- Travel with team and be approved to drive college issued vehicles for team travel.
- Assist with film breakdown.
- Deliver scouting reports for opposing teams.
- Assist in all efforts to promote the academic success of student-athletes, including managing team academics.

Qualifications
- Must be a Life University Student or accepted to the summer term
- Soccer playing/coaching experience
- Must be enrolled in at least six hours of graduate coursework toward the degree, certificate, or thesis each quarter
- Must be in good standing (academic and otherwise) with the University
