Welcome to Milaj.co, operated by Mila Career Services LLC (“Milaj”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By accessing or using our platform, including job postings, recruitment services, networking events, and webinars, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service (“Terms”). Please read them carefully before using our services.

1. Services Provided

Milaj.co offers a suite of hiring, branding, and professional development tools tailored for higher education institutions. Services include but are not limited to:

Job board access for academic and staff hiring
Recruitment services (candidate sourcing and direct placement)
Resume database and talent discovery tools
Employer branding support (DEI campaigns, featured content)
Networking events and live webinars
Custom enterprise hiring solutions

We reserve the right to add, change, or discontinue services at our discretion.

2. User Responsibilities

You agree to use Milaj.co only for lawful, academic/professional purposes. You must not:

Post misleading or fraudulent job listings
Misuse candidate data or contact information
Interfere with the platform's security, performance, or other users
Share login credentials without authorization

We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations without refund or prior notice.

3. Payment Terms

Fees vary based on the service type selected and will be clearly presented at the time of purchase. All payments are due upfront unless stated otherwise. Certain services, such as recruitment placements, may incur additional fees (e.g., a percentage of first-year salary).

Late or failed payments may result in paused services or permanent account suspension.
Annual plans are non-refundable once service has commenced unless otherwise agreed upon.

4. Intellectual Property

All content on Milaj.co — including logos, branding, user interface, blog posts, and database architecture — belongs to Milaj and may not be copied, modified, or reused without written consent.

Institutions retain ownership of their logos and job content but grant Milaj a license to display them for promotional and operational purposes.

5. Candidate Information

Employers are responsible for the proper handling of candidate information, in compliance with all applicable data privacy laws. Milaj does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or continued availability of any candidate profile.

6. Service Availability

While we strive to ensure 24/7 access, Milaj.co may experience downtime for maintenance, updates, or unexpected issues. We are not liable for temporary outages or technical delays.

7. Cancellations & Termination

You may cancel your account at any time by contacting us at info@milaj.co. Refunds are not issued for unused portions of monthly or annual plans unless otherwise specified in a signed agreement.

Milaj reserves the right to terminate any account for violations of these Terms or suspected abuse, fraud, or unethical conduct.

8. Limitation of Liability

Milaj is not liable for:

Hiring outcomes (including no hires, mis-hires, or delayed timelines)
Platform interruptions, technical issues, or third-party outages
Content submitted by users, institutions, or candidates
Data loss due to user error, account misuse, or cyberattacks

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the fees paid by you in the prior 12 months.

9. Modifications

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our platform after any change constitutes acceptance.
