Provide maintenance of the lab, equipment, storage areas, and supplies and overall assistance to the Hospitality Program Chairperson and all faculty.
Major Responsibilities:
• Receive and collate individual class requisitions and fill requisitions from the existing inventory
• Maintain a courteous and helpful relationship with students
• Develop a purchasing list to acquire stock not on hand.
• Receive deliveries and place stock into the proper storage areas.
• Identify a place for everything and organize on a weekly basis.
• Keep accurate records when making any necessary retail purchases, which includes picking up supplies and stock from vendors, and turning in receipts in a timely manner according to Business Office guidelines
• Help with organizing caterings
• Travel to area grocery vendors to shop for supplies for Hospitality Administration/Culinary Arts labs.
• Maintain inventory in proper rotation of food and supply products as well as inventory of equipment and small wares, and capital equipment when requested.
• Maintain proper cleaning and sanitation of storage areas and laboratories, coolers, and freezers
• Assist with Food Truck operations, both on campus and off site

Minimum Qualifications:
Related coursework at the college level and one year work experience in the field, or combination of education and work experience. Must have knowledge of kitchen and Culinary Arts tools and equipment, food products, preparation and purchasing. Valid driver’s license required

8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Monday through Friday
