We invite qualified candidates to apply for our full-time Mathematics Faculty position to begin with the Fall 2025 semester in August 2025. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to excellence in teaching, student learning, assessment, and the use of technology in the delivery of instruction. They will be responsible for assessing student performance in coordination with other members of the Mathematics department to evaluate effectiveness of teaching and student learning and will have demonstrated successful outcomes with a variety of student populations. Primary responsibilities include College service and teaching transfer-level Mathematics courses, such as College Algebra, Contemporary Mathematics, Statistics, Precalculus, Trigonometry, and courses in the Calculus sequence. Course assignments will depend on departmental needs each semester. Teaching load is 15 credit hours per semester.
Qualifications: A minimum of a Master's degree, M.A. or M.S., in Mathematics is required. Preferred candidates will have experience teaching mathematics at the college level, possess excellent communication skills, and a strong desire to nurture students through the transition from high school to college. Preferred candidates will embrace the use of technology in teaching and will maintain the highest possible standards in classroom instruction, management, and assessment.

Minimum starting salaries (AY 2024-25): Instructor: $58,315; Assistant Professor: $64,238; Associate Professor: $70,620 - Rank will be assessed at the time of hire based on years of experience and education based on pre-determined criteria.
