Course description:
This course is an applied financial and managerial accounting course. Principles of financial and managerial accounting are developed and used to examine the difficult strategic and operational decisions. The general objectives of this course are to provide the manager with the financial and managerial accounting theory, concepts and tools necessary to make better financial management decisions and to enable the student to make sound judgements regarding financial analyses performed by others.
Knowledge of FACTSET a plus
All courses meet on day noted once a week from 8am -Noon at the Beverly Campus for 12 weeks. Please note which days work best for you.
Instructors are expected to:
- Deliver the course(s) online asychronously.
- Abide by Endicott’s academic policies as described in the College’s faculty handbook.
- Use the course description and honor the learning outcomes of each course.
- Use Canvas as the course’s learning management system.
- Meet deadlines for roster verification and submission of grades.
- Communicate with the dean or other administrators if issues arise concerning the teaching of specific classes.
- Meet with students if they request assistance or need clarification for any course-related matter, if requested.
- Provide samples of student work that may be used for assessment purposes.
- Use Endicott email when communicating with students outside of class.
Qualifications: A minimum of a Master’s degree is required, and college-level teaching experience is preferred.
