We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable culinary professional to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for preparing quality food, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety, and working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare all hot food items according to standard recipes and/or guest specifications to ensure consistency and quality.
Monitor and maintain proper storage of ingredients, particularly stocks, sauces, and other items requiring special handling.
Adhere to portion control guidelines to minimize waste and ensure consistent product delivery.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of all refrigeration units, storage areas, and workstations in accordance with Health Department regulations.
Ensure all kitchen equipment is clean, sanitized, and in proper working condition.
Follow “Clean as You Go” and “Teamwork” policies to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
Prepare requisitions for supplies and food items needed at your station to ensure readiness for service.
Utilize basic math skills to accurately follow and adjust recipes as needed.
