Campus & LocationCocoaPosition DescriptionEastern Florida State College is currently seeking applications for the part-time position of Dental Hygienist – Adjunct on the Cocoa Campus in Cocoa, Florida. The Dental Assisting and Dental Hygiene programs are actively hiring Dental Hygienists to teach in either clinical, laboratory or didactic courses.
Salary & BenefitPosition ConceptMinimum QualificationsThe minimum qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Dental Assisting, Dental Hygiene, or other related field from a regionally accredited institution.
- Current Florida Dental Hygiene license.
- Current Local Anesthesia certification.
- Current Basic Life Support Provider (CPR/AED) certification.
- Two years of previous Dental Hygiene or Dental Assisting teaching or work experience required.
- Valid Florida Motor Vehicle Operator’s license required.
- This position will require successful fingerprinting and drug screening. The candidate chosen will be required to pay the associated fees (currently $36.00/$65.15).The fingerprinting and drug screening fees ($36.00/$65.15) are non-refundable.
