The Wylie Inn & Conference Center at Endicott College is seeking a full-time Event Manager to lead the coordination and execution of social events held on-site, including weddings, showers, galas, holiday parties, and other special gatherings. This role is responsible for managing event logistics from start to finish, working closely with clients to plan food and beverage needs, event timelines, room setups, and décor, while finalizing details and collecting payments.
The Event Manager works cross-functionally with internal departments and external vendors to deliver seamless events that exceed guest expectations. Building strong relationships with both new and returning clients is key to supporting future bookings. This role also represents the Wylie Inn through participation in local networking and community events.
The position is based on Endicott’s scenic coastal campus in Beverly, Massachusetts, just 20 miles north of Boston. Employees enjoy access to the full Endicott College community, including campus amenities and free parking.
Oversee on-site social events booked by the sales team, including weddings, bridal and baby showers, galas, holiday parties, and other group gatherings
Coordinate all event details such as food and beverage needs, timeline, room setup, décor, and payment collection
Meet with clients, vendors, and on-site staff to prepare for and support smooth execution of each event
Maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals
Work closely with all hotel departments to support a positive guest experience and strong team environment
Represent the Wylie Inn at networking events, community gatherings, campus functions, and industry happenings
