SCC invites qualified candidates to apply for our part-time pooled faculty position to teach Communications courses this upcoming Fall 2025 semester, and possibly future semesters. Communications courses may include (but are not limited to): COM 101 (Introduction to Communication), COM 106 (Public Speaking), and COM 110 (Interpersonal Communication). Preference given to applicants who have availability to teach in-person courses on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Part-time appointments made on a semester-by-semester (as needed) basis.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master's degree in Communication, Speech Communication or Mass Communication is required OR
- Master's degree with 18 graduate credit hours in Communications coursework.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior teaching experience is preferred.
- In-person teaching availability
