Job Summary/Basic Functions
The College of Business at Eastern Kentucky University, an AACSB International accredited school, invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor of Marketing beginning August 2025. The candidate will be expected to teach in-person courses, although some semesters may include an online class. Teaching assignments will include, but are not limited to consumer behavior, international marketing, digital marketing, marketing management, marketing for entrepreneurs, and marketing research and analysis, and other related fields.
The successful candidate should hold a doctoral degree (PhD, DBA, EdD) in a related business field from an AACSB International accredited institution. ABD applicants may be considered. Excellence in, and a commitment to, teaching is essential. In addition to face-to-face instruction, some online teaching experience will be helpful. Conducting and publishing high-quality scholarly research and providing service to the profession, the University, and the business community consistent with EKU’s mission are required. Preference will be given to candidates with an active research agenda and publication record.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Earned doctoral degree in Marketing (Ph.D. or D.B.A.) from an AACSB International accredited institution. ABD applicants may be considered.
