Position Summary
WashU's Division of Student Affairs seeks a medical professional for the position of Staff Physician. The Division of Student Affairs advances the educational mission of the university through resources and experiences outside the classroom that prepare our students for lifelong success.
Provide primary health care for a diverse student population. This includes providing a range of clinical services, including diagnostic assessment, medication management, and appropriate referral to off campus resources, and coordination of care between specialists and family members as indicated. This includes performing minor procedures as approved on personal medical privilege form.
Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Primary care for a diverse student population, including direct patient care via physical or telehealth appointments and indirect patient care that includes prescription refills, patient messaging, managing test results, communicating with specialists, outside providers, family members, and charting.
- Participate in rotating after-hours on-call coverage. This includes covering late-day provider duties and carrying the on-call phone and documentation.
- Serve on committees as assigned, staff meetings, case conferences, and QI projects.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as necessary and assigned.

- General medical environment. May be exposed to chemical and other biohazardous materials.

- Board Certified in Appropriate Field- and required maintenance of certification.
