The Professor Ignea Lab at the Department of Bioengineering is seeking a dedicated and motivated Part-Time Lab Helper (B) to support research activities in their dynamic lab environment.
Position Summary
- Sterilization of glassware and consumables (autoclaving)
- Glassware washing
- Maintain readiness of consumables for use and sterilization (tips filling...)
- Maintain lab work areas clean and orderly
- Assist - on occasion- in preparing samples for testing with a multitude of lab equipment
Skills and Qualifications
- High School diploma
- One year of laboratory experience is required
- Good knowledge of Lab safety
Expected start date: August 25 2025
Expected end date: Feb 25 2026
Number of hours per week: 10h (schedule to be set with supervisor)
Hourly rate 18$
