GENERAL PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF THE POSITION: The Campus Activities Board (CAB) Assistant serves as a student leader of the campus’s programming efforts. Assist Office of Student Life with coordination and implementation of Campus Activities Board events and activities.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Represent the student body’s voice when selecting future events/activities, in conjunction with SGA.
- Assist with event logistics (setup, tear down, attendance tracking, assisting performers, etc.) at Student Life events/activities.
- Create fliers and other promotional materials for events/activities.
- Distribute event promotional materials on campus.
- Assist the Office of Student Life with post-event assessment by providing feedback, compiling survey data, etc.
- Attend CAB/Student Life-sponsored events and activities.
- Attend and actively participate in CAB/Student Life event planning meetings.
- Actively encourage students to participate and/or get involved on campus.
- Engage in behaviors that create an inclusive environment where everyone is valued, supported, and respected.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be a current degree-seeking Ivy Tech student enrolled in courses.
- High School Diploma or Equivalency
PAY RATE:
$15.00 per hour
