Meat and Seafood Fabrication
Classical Cuisine and Pastries
What You’ll Do:
Deliver high-quality instruction aligned with departmental curriculum and college standards
Assess student performance and provide feedback in a timely, constructive manner
Collaborate with full-time faculty to maintain academic consistency and excellence
Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, and instructional technology effectively
Maintain positive, respectful interactions with a diverse student body
What You Bring:
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or related field
Professional certification (e.g., ServSafe Manager)
Relevant industry work experience (2–5+ years depending on the course)
Experience working with diverse, multicultural student populations
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience teaching in a community college setting
Workplace Specialist License in Culinary Arts (for specific courses)
Strong knowledge of classical and contemporary culinary techniques
Comfort with standard culinary classroom equipment and tools
Additional Info:
Adjunct faculty are employed on a term-by-term basis and are limited to no more than 12 contact hours per semester.
