Qualifications1. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ability to work independently and follow through on assignments with minimal supervision (Required)
2. Demonstrated experience with proofreading, editing, and formatting complex documents, with a focus on appropriate grammar, spelling, and syntax that effectively engages the reader, in particular broad and diverse audiences.

3. Demonstrated computer proficiency with Mac/PC in order to create and maintain databases, tables, reports, letters and memos using software such as Word, Excel, and Acrobat.

4. Attention to Detail: Strong attention to a4. Proficiency with web design, CSS, HTML, Squarespace, FTP, SVN
ccuracy in financial processing, documentation, and data analysis. (Required)
5. Familiarity with Adobe software, including Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere.

6. Ability to identify and evaluate societal and everyday-life implications of scientific results, to attract public interest in scientific findings.

7. Excellent interpersonal skills to interact courteously and effectively with scientists at large, federal funding agencies and industry partners, co-workers, volunteers, faculty, staff, and key University officials.
