Position Summary:
Hiring Salary Range: $73,086.07 to $80,394.67 depending on qualifications.
Senior technical position within the Information Technology division responsible for overall planning, development, configuration, implementation, and maintenance of all central systems and servers with a primary focus in Workday Security and Integration administration/development. Has leadership responsibility for all major systems projects. Responsible for coordinating systems security. The Server Systems Engineer is responsible for researching and evaluating new systems technologies appropriate for HCC and providing institution-wide strategic recommendations in further leveraging systems and other related technologies.
Job Duties:
- Workday Security Administration is responsible for managing security domains, groups, roles, and policies within the Workday system.
- Implementing security to include user profiles, roles, permissions, object security, and security for all areas of Workday.
- Supporting Workday release security testing and reviewing new security functionalities for implementation.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain Workday integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, and Workday Web Services.
- Develop and maintain complex Workday integration workflows to integrate with various internal and external systems.
- Develop, implement, and administer automation solutions using a variety of services such as Azure Storage, Power Automate, Devops, Logic Apps, Functions, and more.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring a high level of system reliability and performance.
- Manages assigned operating and project-based resources including leading staff and project team members regarding the planning, development, configuration, implementation, and maintenance of centralized systems and related technologies.
- Ensures systems security for a specific operating system, systems and file backup administration, file restoration, and systems software installation and related change management accountability.
- Develops custom scripts using a variety of development tools to manage systems and integrations.
- Develops and maintains documentation for systems process, integrations, and related systems.
- Research, evaluate, and test new technologies appropriate for HCC providing strategic recommendations for administrative information systems and applications.
- Performs other similar and related duties as required.
Required Qualifications:
The position requires (1) at least a bachelor’s degree and at least six years of prior-related work experience, or (2) at least a master’s degree and at least four years of prior-related work experience. Fundamental Windows systems administration. Fundamental experience in administering Enterprise systems including server hardware, virtualization, storage systems, and ERP systems support. Experience with cloud-based service administration (Azure, AWS, GCP).
Preferred Qualifications:
