Master’s degree in Education required; preference will be given to a Doctorate in Education. At least one of the following: Recent full-time teaching experience in a school or administrative role within a school board, including 2 years of implementation of the Ontario curriculum in the subject area of the course with a specialist qualification in the subject area of the course, or Current and peer-reviewed research record in the subject area of the course, or Recent comprehensive (Ph.D.) examination in the subject area of the course. – Demonstrated knowledge of the current Ontario Curriculum related to the subject area of the course and Ministry of Education documents related to the subject area of the course. – Proven ability to apply the Standards of Practice and Ethical Standards of the Ontario College of Teachers. The University may consider experience or qualifications equivalent to those mentioned above.
