$43,888.00 - $68,773.43
Position Summary:
Hiring Salary Range: $43,888.00 to $48,276.80 depending on qualifications.
Assists and advises students regarding applications, registration, course selection, career development, graduation requirements, and transfer process and evaluations. Evaluates transcripts and performs degree and graduation audits. Advises current and prospective students on degrees offered by the College and provides general information regarding College policies and procedures. Assists new students with admission procedures, test requirements and degree options. Assists current students with graduation requirements and transfer information. Evaluates transcripts and performs degree and graduation audits; refers students for tutorial assistance as appropriate. Assists students in all stages of career exploration. Maintains up to date understanding of articulation policies, procedures and state mandates. Maintains current and organized student records. Attends seminars and workshops. Provides orientation services for new students. Performs other similar and related duties as assigned.
Job Duties:
- Assists current Associate in Science (AS) degree and certificate students with academic program review and direction, graduation requirement completion, and transfer information.
- Assists new Associate in Science degree and certificate students with admission procedures, test requirements and degree options.
- Evaluate transcripts and performs degree and graduation audits of students in Associate in Science degrees and certificate programs.
- Assists prospective students with Associate in Science degree and certificate program expectations.
- Assist and advise students with various approved articulation agreements, affiliation agreements, and internship agreements.
- Assist AS faculty and staff with special grant events and activities that support recruitment, retention and graduation from Associate in Science degree programs.
- Maintain current and organized records of students in the DMC AS division programs to assist with timely completion of their program of study.
- Develop special program brochures for the DM Associate in Science division.
- Assists students in all stages of career exploration.
- Attends seminars, conferences and workshops on advising and retention of students.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and at least two years prior-related work experience
