Under general direction of the BSC Director responsible for the effective management and operation of all Law facilities.
Job Duties:
Responsible for the scheduling, coordinating and directing of grounds, custodial, maintenance and related activities, including work by outside contractors.
Responsible for planning and coordinating the use of facilities.
Prepare recommendations for improvements of facilities necessary to maintain efficient operation.
Prepare budget recommendation for maintaining and updating facilities
Responsible for the set-up and take-down of events as required.
Responsible for annual or periodic reports on operation of the facilities.
Maintain complete inventory of all facilities equipment and arrange for proper storage.
Supervise, train, hire, evaluate, and schedule work of staff and/or student help.
Ensure all university facilities policies and procedures are followed.
Perform related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associates degree Facilities Management or related field required.
Five years of experience in building maintenance, custodial, housekeeping, grounds maintenance.
Thorough knowledge of building, custodial, grounds, and housekeeping operations.
Experience negotiating contracts and managing a facility.
Sufficient strength and physical dexterity to perform duties and responsibilities of this job including heavy lifting
Computer experience.
Satisfactory experience supervising employees.
