Touring musical theatre performer and educator for TIGER Regional Tour. Founded in 2002, TIGER is a professional educational theatre company aimed at fostering positive approaches to bullying and other social issues among children through live, 45 minute performances that incorporate theatre, dance and music. In collaboration with PSU's graduate programs in integrated arts, school psychology and counselor education, TIGER strives to support children, schools, parents and communities in addressing the challenges youth encounter in today's society. Schools have the ability to book additional 30 minute workshops following the performances.
Actor will rehearse and two original 45 minute shows geared for grades K-6 that will begin rehearsing and touring in September. Touring averages three days a week Wednesday - Friday. (Some actors will be asked to tour on Tuesdays and will be arranged at a later time) We are looking for a new member of the troupe that excels in singing, dance, acting and improvisational skills. The actor has a passion for theatre for young audiences and theatre education.
