Position Summary:
The TA tasks include but are not limited to:
Reading all course materials and papers assigned as student readings and for journal clubs.
Attending classes in-person (Thursdays, 9 AM – 11 AM).
Helping instructors evaluate student presentations.
Answering students’ emails.
Managing myCourses.
Coordinating with guest lecturers as needed.
Qualifications:
PhD student in at least their 2nd year of training in any discipline related to the 4 pillars of the PhD in Interdisciplinary Cancer Sciences Program: (1) cancer biology, (2) cancer therapeutics and diagnostics, (3) cancer etiology, prevention and prognosis, and (4) psychosocial oncology.
