The Opportunity:
The UCF Student Success and Well-Being Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) is currently accepting applications for a Student Care Coordinator I. This position is in Counseling and Psychological Services and supports the mental health of UCF students by providing case management services to students.
Responsibilities:
Develops and implements systems for follow-up with students who have been referred to community resources (therapists, psychiatrists, clinics).
Assists the clinical system and the Care Management Team with managing acute and high-risk students in accessing services to community resources.
Schedules follow up appointments with students who need referral information.
Meets with students to overcome barriers to accessing community resources.
Helps to schedule appointments with off-campus providers.
Provides case management for students who may need multiple services across campus.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's and 2+ years of relevant experience or Master's degree and 0+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219. Click here for more information.
Preferred Qualifications:
Interest in working with students in a non-clinical role.
Two years of case management and referral experience.
Attention to detail, multi-tasker and self-starter.
