The Opportunity:
The Program Manager for Certification for drive the practice-based application of certification, model fidelity, and continuous improvement for Community Schools. This role involves collaborating with Center for Community Schools leaders to assess sites for implementation fidelity and certification eligibility. Key responsibilities include delivering training, conducting interviews and focus groups, reviewing critical documents, and generating comprehensive reports. You will also actively contribute to the continuous enhancement of the UCF Community Partnership School Certification process, associated workshops, and the technical assistance provided to directors, nonprofits, and site-level partnerships.
Certification Strategy & Development:
Lead the annual development and evolution of the UCF Community Partnership Schools (CPS) Certification strategy, focusing on enhancing its form, function, and impact within participating Community Partnership Schools and broader community school initiatives.
Design and implement a comprehensive plan to elevate the UCF CPS Certification and its associated tools, aiming to maximize their positive influence on community school effectiveness.
Drive continuous improvement across all facets of the CPS Certification process, leveraging expertise in practice analysis to ensure the certification accurately reflects evolving best practices and aligns with community-specific strategic needs. This includes collaborating with Assessment & Evaluation teams and researching emerging principles.
Develop and oversee annual, short-term, and long-term project plans for UCF CPS Certification activities at designated sites.
Certification Oversight & Operations:
Manage the growth and expansion of Community School certifications, ensuring rigorous standards are upheld.
Maintain meticulous official UCF CPS Certification records and documents, guaranteeing compliance with all relevant regulations.
Lead the day-to-day operations of certification standards, providing prompt responses to inquiries and support requests related to the certification process.
Co-lead a dedicated certification working group responsible for reviewing applications, conducting interviews, performing document reviews, and leading site visits to ensure fidelity to the UCF CPS model.
Participate in ad hoc certification committees to audit and govern the certification process as needed.
Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration:
Cultivate strategic partnerships with site staff to effectively advance and utilize the certification process and its standards.
Promote the broad application of the certification to maintain model fidelity across all participating schools.
General Responsibilities:
Work independently, efficiently, and accurately, demonstrating strong follow-through on assignments with minimal supervision.
Assist with special initiatives and projects as assigned.
Bachelor's or Master's degree and 4+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219. Click here for more information
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in program management, with a strong emphasis on certification, accreditation, or standards development within an educational or community-based setting.
Demonstrated experience in implementing, and evaluating certification process.
Familiarity with community school models and/or K-12 educational systems.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Proven ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
