**ENTRY LEVEL POSITION**
**Must be flexible to work overnight shift from 11PM-7AM when needed**
This is a front-facing role performed in the hotel lobby—not a traditional office job. The position requires standing for extended periods and involves a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, rather than a standard 9-to-5 workday.
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Perform check-in and check-out procedures efficiently.
- Manage room reservations using the hotel's property management system (PMS).
- Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and handle guest inquiries promptly.
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and transportation.
- Handle guest complaints or issues with professionalism and escalate when necessary.
- Maintain accurate guest records and billing information.
- Process payments and maintain a balanced cash drawer.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for room readiness and guest requests.
- Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and presentable.
- Have the ability to read, listen and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Have the ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in hospitality, event management, business, or a related field preferred.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
- Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities with strong attention to detail.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt quickly in high-pressure situations.
- Have the ability to stand at length and continuously perform essential job functions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
