Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to wedding and wedding block inquiries via phone, email, or in person.
- Conduct venue tours with potential clients.
- Prepare and present catering proposals and pricing.
- Close sales and achieve monthly/quarterly revenue goals.
- Collaborate with couples to design customized catering menus.
- Advise clients on food and beverage options, logistics, and timelines.
- Assist Event Managers in creating Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and communicate event details with internal teams.
- Build strong relationships with couples throughout the planning process.
- Serve as the main point of contact for room block related questions and concerns.
- Attend and oversee events as needed to ensure client satisfaction.
- Work closely with the culinary team, banquet staff, and wedding planners.
- Maintain accurate records in CRM or event management software.
- Track payments and ensure timely billing.
- Prepare post-event summaries and gather client feedback.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven sales experience in catering, hospitality, or events sales, ideally 3+ years.
- Strong understanding of wedding trends and couple expectations.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities with strong attention to detail.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt quickly in high-pressure situations.
- Proficiency in event management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with hospitality industry trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as dictated by event needs.
