About the Role
The Manager, Leadership Giving is responsible for managing relationships with donor prospects determined to have the ability to make annual leadership gifts at the $1K to $10K level. The role is responsible for developing and implementing strategies for securing financial support from a portfolio of donor prospects including identifying, qualifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding these gifts from alumni, parents, faculty, staff and the community. Through the management of these relationships, the Manager identifies those capable of upgrading to give major and special gifts at the $10K to $250K level. The Manager works in collaboration with faculty Major Gift Fundraisers to develop and implement strategies to upgrade donors and develop the pipeline for major and planned gifts.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and four years of related fundraising experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication (verbal, written, and presentation) and relationship management skills.
- Excellent research, solicitation, and cultivation skills.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical reasoning skills.
- Excellent teamwork skills.
- Good strategic planning skills.
- Proficient in the use of word, database, spreadsheet, and presentation applications and prospect management systems.
