The Opportunity
The Associate Director, PACOM Training & Advising is a key leadership role within the Student Success department at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s Worldwide Campus. This position is responsible for overseeing academic operations and staff development across the PACOM region, ensuring consistent, high-quality service delivery that supports student success.
This role leads the strategic execution of new hire onboarding, designs and facilitates robust training programs—including Canvas-based courses—and ensures PACOM advising staff are well-prepared to deliver exceptional support. The Associate Director serves as a critical liaison between regional staff and university-wide advising teams, fostering alignment in policies, practices, and communications.
A champion of collaboration, the Associate Director partners with cross-functional stakeholders to address operational needs and escalate training or personnel-related matters to Student Success leadership as appropriate. The position also promotes a culture of continuous improvement by leading professional development initiatives, facilitating training sessions, and mentoring staff to enhance performance and engagement.
Serving as a visible ambassador for the University, the Associate Director consistently upholds the institution’s values and contributes to a positive, student-centered environment across the PACOM region.

Qualifications
Required Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required (preferred concentration in Leadership, Education, Counseling)
Required Skills, Knowledge, Abilities:
- Familiarity with ERAU operations.
- Demonstrates strong analytical skills and in-depth knowledge of information systems, coupled with technical expertise in Microsoft operating systems and key applications including Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook/Email, and Internet end-user tools.
- Leverages this expertise to design and deliver comprehensive training sessions, ensuring staff are proficient in utilizing these systems to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
