The Ivy+ Career Link Program Manager is responsible for the fulfillment of programming, and services to meet the needs of business, industry, non-profit organizations, and the general public. Work collaboratively with Ivy Tech Executive Director of Career Link, Employer Consultant, Career Coach, Campus Chancellor, Vice Chancellors, program chairs, and faculty to successfully implement metrics tied to employers, employees, and College outcomes and ensure services and products exceed customer and College expectations.
Design, assist in, or assign the development of training, programs, and services for contract or customized training, and for open enrollment courses.
Identify, hire, and manage appropriate faculty and staff for the fulfillment of courses and programs.
Leads AYD efforts to map employee program of study to internal work & learn experiences.
Leads efforts to build awareness of work-and-learn and career opportunities at campus and with employers, including, but not limited to, such areas as internships and other work-and-learn constructs. Plan and execute events such as career and job fairs, information sessions, skills workshops in collaboration with the Career Link team, local employers, Chambers and Economic Growth Councils.
Work closely with the Business Office, Academic Affairs, Testing Center, Student Success, and Student Services personnel, e.g., Admissions, Advisors, deans, and faculty, to ensure quality programming and collaboration in program development and future course offerings.
Coordinate with department assistants and work with other College departments to ensure timely execution of programs; for example, Finance for invoicing of contracts, bookstore for materials ordering, etc.
Ensure all project documentation is accurate and maintained including utilizing the standard terms and conditions and statewide contract templates.
Ensure that arrangements are made for appropriate facilities, materials, and equipment necessary for the delivery of services.
Travel to partner sites within Ivy Tech Anderson’s 2 county region for Career Link activities.
Work with Marketing to create materials and market programs and services.
Work with areas of Ivy+ Career Link to ensure employer and student work and learn information is captured and recorded (e.g. employer and student evaluations).
Maintain records of projects and other student/employer information in customer (CRM) and student management systems (e.g. Salesforce, Banner, Workday, contract CSM) to track and provide reports in a timely manner; including grades and certifications earned.
Establish, maintain, and cultivate positive, collaborative partnerships with employers and other key partners such as the Department of Workforce Development, grant agencies, and area industry partners.
Participate in training and professional development as needed.
Responsible for monitoring the use of division funds for program delivery.
Work with Employer Consultant to establish employer contracts, open enrollment, and campus training priorities.

- Associate’s degree
- A minimum of three (3) years of related experience in business, industry, training, or related activity with financial acumen.
- Must have 2 years of experience in an office management setting or similar experience
- Must possess an ability and a willingness to travel in the performance of assigned duties.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and vehicle
- Must have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.
