Hiring Unit:
Department of Chemistry
Position Summary:
- Assemble and test the electrochemical system. This will include adapting a program to run the instrument.
- Synthesize new materials based on the needs of other McCalla group members, such as post-doctoral fellows and graduate students.
- Perform electrochemical tests on the new materials using the new test system. Report to Prof. McCalla each week in in-person meetings (remote meetings are also acceptable).
- Ensures lab space is kept clean.
Qualifications:
- Basic physical Chemistry laboratory skills as acquired in such courses as Chem 273 at McGill, or equivalent.
- Work well within a research team.
Experience and Education:
- Must be enrolled as an undergraduate student in the Department of Chemistry.
