Position Summary:
Under the direction of the immediate supervisor, the Field Attendant will be expected to assist and work alongside the other Field Attendant workers to ensure that the event areas are kept proper. This will include cleaning and preparing the areas for upcoming events and/or cleanup after events.
Duties:
Perform general housekeeping duties in Molson Stadium such as wash floors, corridors and dressing rooms, clean washrooms, or other designated areas. Stock washrooms with supplies as required.
If necessary, assist with clearing snow to ensure emergency exits are clear as per fire prevention regulations (Winter months only)
Facilitate easy access for clients and participants at events. Unlock and secure building as well as gates for field access and parking purposes.
Monitor facility functions during hours of operations. Respond to facility and equipment malfunctions and report serious issues to Supervisor.
Accept deliveries and ensure proper storage of supplies or equipment. Liaise with internal and external service providers to show them the necessary services and repairs which need attention. Verify work and inform Supervisor upon the completion of minor repairs done by internal and external service providers.
Perform minor repairs on grounds equipment. Set up, take apart, and store, maintain, and organize equipment used in activities and sports events.
Qualifications:
One year experience in a similar environment, an asset
Ability to learn quickly and multitask
Well organized with attention to detail
