About the Role
The Associate Director, Communications and Marketing is responsible for providing leadership and expertise to the development and implementation of comprehensive communications and marketing strategies for campus wide communications (across all three campuses). While mentoring a group of five communicators who support a variety of campus services and initiatives, this role leads/oversees the conceptualization, development, and execution of plans, activities and initiatives to achieve organization objectives that support the priorities and goals of the university.
The successful candidate must have extensive knowledge of marketing and communication best practice, and sound experience in communications planning and implementation to addresses tangible business needs. Must be both a creative and strategic thinker, with strong leadership and team management skills. Exceptional editing, writing and communication skills are also required.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related field and six years of related professional experience, including experience in developing and implementing marketing and communications plans and budgets or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Extensive knowledge of marketing and communication strategy.

- Strong leadership and team management skills.
