SCC is seeking a Content Marketing Manager role focused on creating engaging and brand-focused content for various digital channels, including social media, email, newsletters, and Marketing. The role involves collaboration with our creative team and stakeholders across the organization. You will take charge of SCC's social media presence to deliver consistent and engaging content across a variety of platforms. Additionally, this role will establish, launch and maintain SCC's new email marketing program.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Thrive in a collaborative environment with a high-volume workload often requiring short turnaround times
- Analyze the company's social strategy to make frequent improvement suggestions
- Stay up to date with new and emerging trends to help keep SCC's social media presence consistently relevant
- Create engaging and compelling email content that resonates with our audience and aligns with our brand voice, including engaging copy, appealing visuals and persuasive calls to action.
- Identify target segments, defining campaign goals and determining optimal results
- Monitor and study email campaign key performance indicators (KPIs), such as email deliverability, open rates, click-through rates, conversions and ROI.
- Ensure the accuracy and hygiene of the email database, maintaining opt-in practices and complying with data protection regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, content and analytics, to align email marketing efforts with broader marketing initiatives.
- Raise the bar continually for writing fresh copy that connects with a desired audience and drives action
- Ghostwriting for senior leadership
- Be adept at writing in varying voices, style, and other characteristics based on the project and target audience

- Effective time-management skills
- A bachelor's degree in marketing, English, communications or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a marketing role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to write everything from press releases and leadership briefs to advertising, social media, and website copy
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently or with a team to meet deadlines
- Excellent organizational skills and multitasking ability
- Exceptional ability to distill complex thoughts into creative, easy-to-read copy
