Position SummaryThe Vending, Refreshment & Food Delivery Solutions Manager plays a vital role in supporting the General Manager in executing the strategic vision for UCLA's vending, refreshment, and food delivery services. This position is essential in driving operational excellence, enhancing efficiency, and modernizing service delivery to position UCLA as a leader in the food delivery market. By working closely with the General Manager, the Manager ensures that service quality, product offerings, and sustainability initiatives align with evolving consumer preferences. This role is responsible for overseeing key daily operational functions and optimizing team performance across multiple service lines—including vending, office services, and food delivery solutions—to ensure outstanding service, operational efficiency, and long-term profitability.

Qualifications2-4 years experience in vending, AFH (Away From Home) services, or related food & beverage industry experienceindustry (Required)
2 years supervisory or leadership experience (Required)
experience in managing vendor relationships and inventory control (Preferred)
Strong operational management skills, including scheduling, logistics, and maintenance coordination. (Required)
Ability to analyze sales trends and adjust product offerings accordingly. (Preferred)
Strong leadership abilities with a commitment to fostering a team-oriented work environment. (Required)
Financial acumen in budgeting, cost control, and revenue optimization. (Preferred)
Knowledge of vending technologies, including cashless payment systems and remote monitoring. (Preferred)
Strong written and verbal communication skills for internal coordination and customer service. (Required)
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. (Required)
Commitment to sustainability initiatives, including waste reduction and eco-friendly product sourcing. (Preferred)
Education, Licenses, Certifications & Personal AffiliationsHigh School Diploma or GED Equivalent (Required)
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Hospitality, or related field (Preferred)
Valid driver's license and clean driving record (Required)
ServSafe Certification or equivalent certification (Preferred)
