With close to 700,000 Bruins, you will play a pivotal role in deepening connections domestically and internationally as you develop opportunities and reimagine how we support and reunite our powerful community back to UCLA and each other. Qualifications Demonstrated community building or volunteer leadership development experience, including volunteer recruitment, stewardship, training and development. (Required) Experience responding to constituent inquiries and concerns in a customer service-oriented, volunteer-driven environment. (Required) Experience establishing, overseeing and evaluating collaborations and projects, and in developing support among both internal campus constituencies and external partners. (Required) Experience with and understanding of issues involved in a team-oriented environment made up of diverse individuals with a variety of interests, strengths and professional preparation. (Required) Experience using social media platforms with ability and initiative to learn new social media platforms. (Required) Experience working in an educational and/or nonprofit, community focused environment is highly desirable. (Preferred) Strong background in project management, including identifying and setting priorities, performing detailed needs analyses, identifying stakeholders, developing action plans, segmenting projects into their component parts, and managing the process from inception to completion. (Required)Strong interpersonal skills to interact courteously and effectively with co-workers, volunteers, donors, key university officials and other internal and external constituents.
