Course description: Written and oral communication in Education (in English): emphasis on strategies for identifying, analyzing and solving writing and speaking problems. Course work based on academic and professional communication in education, with a particular focus on classroom communication.

Position Summary:
This requisition is for (1) position, in the Department of Integrated Studies in Education.
Course dates are August 27, 2025, to November 5, 2025.
Effective dates of appointment are August 20, 2025, to November 14, 2025.
Hourly Rate: $17.75
Responsibilities may include:
Qualifications: Grader should be a graduate student with a solid understanding of how to write basic essays.
Graduate student.
Contribute to grading assignments in the course.
Candidates should possess strong writing skills and a history of grading the mechanics of academic writing (grammar, sentence structure, tone, etc.).
Knowledge of multiple writing conventions is an asset.
DISE graduate students will be given priority.
Bilingual is an asset.
