Ivy Tech Evansville seeks an Enrollment Center Assistant. The person in this role greets all visitors in-person at the Enrollment Center and enters them into a queuing system while managing our prospective student virtual line, Ivy Q. This role also manages all Enrollment Center forms, office supplies, and space.
Major Responsibilities:
- Open the Enrollment Center each morning. Log in kiosk computers.
- Greet visitors and students, clarify and answer general questions, and/or enter students into queuing system (IVY Q) to be seen by an enrollment specialist, recruiter, financial aid or registrar.
- Provide general information about admissions, registration, financial aid, orientation, assessment, and business support.
- Assist students with various forms such as Change of Information and transcript requests; assist students to apply for admission and complete identity verification procedures.
- Schedule appointments for students with admissions, enrollment, financial aid, and registrar staff.
- Manage all Enrollment Center forms and understand forms from all departments. Verify completeness of forms and accompanying materials. Maintain appropriate inventory of necessary student materials.
- Collect and date-stamp student forms for back office/processing support.
- Ordering of Enrollment Center office supplies, nametags, business cards.
- Keep accurate spreadsheet of supply & expense, professional development. Verifying spreadsheet coincides with the balance of the college.
- Submit work orders for maintenance and upkeep, helpdesk tickets for phone, computer and printer issues.
- Coordinate departmental events, storage room, oversee break room, set up, and clean up.
- Assist with special projects; provide filing, data entry, and clerical assistance.
- Maintain working knowledge of emergency/safety procedures as provided by supervisor. Be knowledgeable of the locations of the electronic and hard copy of procedures when applicable to deliver information as needed to customers.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate degree or equivalent work experience required.
- Proficiency in Windows environment with data entry required.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
