Position provides direct administrative and clerical support to the Schools of Business, Public Affairs, Information Technology, & Entrepreneurship. This position entails independent work effort, maintaining confidentiality, and developing strong working relationships both inside and outside the schools.
Major Responsibilities:
- Performing receptionist duties such as greeting visitors and answering telephone inquiries.
- Prepare reports, rosters, and school wide announcements at the request of supervisor, chairs, and faculty.
- Manage the assignment of students to faculty advisors and the distribution of information associated with program advising.
- Work in conjunction with program chairs to build and update course schedules.
- Generate adjunct faculty contract spreadsheets, including updating the contracts throughout the semester.
- Respond to student concerns regarding advising, degree structure, scheduling conflicts, change in enrollment status and account holds; refers students to appropriate offices
- Prepare letters, reports, and memoranda and maintain filing for the assigned schools.
- Copy, collate and distribute materials.
- Schedule meeting rooms.
- Complete purchase requisitions for office and teaching supplies, food, and equipment along with work orders, and other college forms as needed.
- Attend school specific faculty meetings and advisory committee meetings as requested; may also be requested to take minutes at those meetings.
- Enter student information after forms are completed by faculty (program changes, registration, etc.) as needed.
- Assist program chairs with accreditation requirements (annual report, self-study, site visit).

Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Associate degree or higher preferred
- Two years of related experience preferred
