GENERAL PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF POSITION:
The School of Health Sciences is seeking a dedicated and organized part-time Clinical Coordinator/Retention Tech to support student success through administrative, retention focused, and limited clinical coordination duties.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide administrative support to students and faculty to promote academic and personal success
• Support retention and enrollment efforts through data review, analysis, and reporting
• Assist with proactive student outreach campaigns (calls, emails, texts), documenting outcomes
• Engage in student-facing tasks, such as:
- Scheduling appointments
- Assisting with course registration
- Reviewing plans of study
- Offering academic coaching and resource referrals
• Serve as a primary point of contact during semester breaks or when faculty are unavailable
• Provide limited support to clinical activities, such as communication with sites or managing basic placement documentation
• Assist the Dean and department chairs with special initiatives to support program and student outcomes
The ideal candidate will:
• Work with data sets, build reports, and identify trends that support student retention
• Be a continuous learner, staying informed about Ivy Tech systems, services, and processes
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills in interactions with students, faculty, staff, and community partners
• Communicate effectively in writing, verbally, and in small group presentations

Compensation: $15/hr, 28hr/week
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting
• Ability to learn and use Ivy Tech systems and software tools
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
