Job Summary/Basic Functions
The KCSS Program Coordinator will coordinate outreach activities to Kentucky school districts to promote safe and healthy learning environments. The Program Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the daily operation of the Kentucky Center for School Safety and will implement outreach initiatives to local school districts.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: - Bachelor's Degree with demonstrated course work in the area of administration and public service
Experience: One year of professional work experience in the area of juvenile justice, education, human services, and/or school safety which involves program planning and support, budget management, and meeting and training coordination.
- Previous experience in working with collaborative agencies such as the KY School Boards Association and KY Department of Education, and experience in working with social service and mental health agencies is preferred.

Job Duties:
- 35% - Coordinates with staff, collaborating institutions, and consultants to plan and coordinate meetings, symposia, trainings, and assessments as well as oversees the preparation and dissemination of related materials reports. - ()
- 20% - Provides overall office management, supervise student workers, provide support for all staff, develop and assign tasks to support assessment processes, ordering and stocking inventory for office functions, scheduling, implementation of new and improved ef - ()
- 15% - Compiles, analyzes, interprets, and tracks data from Kentucky School districts to maintain a databases for accurate reporting. Manage and report on procard usage and booking of hotels for staff, order and manage catering for various meetings and events. - ()
- 15% - Implements and participates in additional outreach activities to schools and communities to educate the public and oversees various survey and data collection initiatives. - ()
- 10% - Provides statistical analysis for safe school assessment surveys based on data frequencies provided by Kentucky school districts in order to prepare written reports, determine outcomes and trends, and monitor assessment survey progress. - ()
- 5% - Supports the office functions by completing all other duties and special projects as assigned - ()
