Requirements and Nature of Work:
Responsibilities:
The Research Assistant will support the School of Psychology during the evaluation of the Undergraduate Programs and Graduate (Clinical and Experimental) Programs in Psychology.
This work consists of analyzing the anonymized responses of stakeholders (students, alumni, professors, and support staff) collected via a SWOT (Strengths-Weaknesses-Opportunities-Threats) questionnaire. Supervision will be provided by the Lead Analyst, Curriculum and Learning Outcomes.
Main tasks:
- Classifying the collected SWOT responses (French and English) into pre-defined themes.
- Analyzing the solutions expressed by respondents and offering insights based on these opinions.
- Submitting a final report (template will be provided),
- Attending a 1h training session and regular check-ins offered by the Lead Analyst.
Minimum qualifications:
- Undergraduate coursework completed in quantitative psychology
- Coursework or experience in qualitative data analysis is an asset
- Must be enrolled in a graduate program in the School of Psychology
- Bilingual (please note that some of the collected responses will be in French so active bilingualism is a must)
- Comfortable with remote work, using online tools.
