About the Role
Reports to the Director of Finance in the VPRI Office with a strong team to support the Research Offices. We have a great hybrid arrangement primarily working in the office 2-3 days a week. We value work-life balance and although we have busier times in the year, we are mindful of employee work culture.
We’re looking for a highly self-motivated individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys working on a variety of ad hoc projects and reporting tasks. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with the Finance Director, providing direct support and contributing to high-priority initiatives. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and adaptable, with strong analytical and communication skills.
The ideal candidate welcomes working collaboratively with the team members with the goal of being on target of budget, timeline, and scope. The candidate should also be very self-motivated as it is a hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and three years of related experience which includes experience in financial administration or accounting, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Excellent financial, budget management, accounting, and administrative skills.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to exercise tact and diplomacy.
- Ability to provide consultative advice and to collaborate with others.
- Ability to exercise mature judgement and initiative.
