This position will be responsible for assisting the Head Coach in all aspects of coaching, recruiting, and administering within the volleyball program. Implementing coaching strategies and methods to help student-athletes’ growth in athletic, interpersonal, academic, and teamwork skills; analyzes performance of team and adjusts strategies as needed; plans and conducts practices and other activities in preparation for competition; and actively recruits competitive and qualified individuals.
90% of Time: Assist in the organization and supervision of practices and games.
●Organize, design, and write practice plans
●Properly set-up and lead practices
●Organize team scouts to support team preparation for games
10% of Time: Assist with team building, leadership and life skills training and communication with student/athletes as needed.
●Be available for calls or texts if needed..
●Attend team meetings on these topics and provide insight and support.
