The School of Social Sciences, Communication, and Humanities at Endicott College is hiring adjunct faculty members with expertise in political science who can teach the undergraduate courses below in person and during their respective time blocks the Fall 2025 semester (August 26-December 12):
POL110-01 World Politics MWF 10-10:50 am
POL110-02 World Politics. MWF 11-11:50 am
POL270 Research Methods in Political Science TR 9:30-10:45 am
POL 315 American Political Thought MW 2-3:15 pm
The adjunct faculty members will be required to:
- Be aware of and abide by Endicott's academic policies
- Use the course description and honor the learning outcomes of each course
- Use Canvas as the course's learning management system
- Meet deadlines for roster verification and submission of grades
- Communicate with Dean Mark Herlihy if and when issues arise
- Meet with students if they request assistance or need clarification for any course-related matter
- Provide samples of student work that may be used for assessment purposes
- Use their Endicott email address when communicating with students.
Qualifications: A minimum of a Master’s degree is required. Ph.D. preferred. College level teaching experience is strongly preferred.
