40% of Time: Exceptional Guest Experience
- Ensure all event setups and services are delivered according to Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and guest expectations
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and concerns to ensure satisfaction
- Conduct pre-function meetings with staff to communicate service goals and expectations
- Serve as Manager on Duty and provide leadership presence during events
35% of Time: Team Performance & Leadership
- Supervise, train, and support banquet servers and setup staff
- Lead by example in maintaining high service standards and a positive team culture
- Provide coaching and feedback to staff to improve performance and efficiency
25% of Time: Operational Readiness
- Inspect event spaces for cleanliness, correct setup, and overall presentation
- Ensure all banquet and AV equipment is clean, functional, and ready for use
- Maintain fully stocked and organized service areas based on upcoming business
- Assist with AV needs and troubleshoot basic technical issues as required
- Perform additional tasks and special projects assigned by the Director of Operations and Director of Banquets
