Recreation Assistants play a critical role in the success of the eSports department as they are often times the first person to interact with patrons entering the eSports Lounge. They provide excellent customer service while monitoring access to the facility. They are responsible for patron safety and managing equipment checkout. Rec. Assistants should be very knowledgeable about all departmental & HUB related programming, acting as a great resource for the campus community.
Duties/Responsibilities
Monitoring students, faculty, and staff access to eSports Lounge
Promote safety and services
Offer orientations for patrons
Perform daily maintenance and cleaning of equipment
Enforce department policies and procedures
Open and close spaces in absence of professional staff
