Qualifications6 months of experience in job offered, or as a statistician, statistical programmer or a related occupational title (Required) Experience creating and utilizing statistical algorithms and conducting power calculations to determine sample size to answer complex research questions. (Required)Demonstrated experience working with large datasets, with a minimum 200 records, using statistical software packages including SAS, R, SPSS, and STATA. (Required)Demonstrated knowledge of at minimum one general object-oriented programming language such as Python, C, or C++. (Required)Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Windows software including Word, Excel, MS Access or SQL Server Management Studio. (Required)Demonstrated experience working with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software including demonstrated experience performing spatial analysis and applying geoprocessing techniques. (Required)Demonstrated knowledge in statistical analyses including generalized linear model, multilevel modeling, data mining, survey methodology and Bayesian influences. (Required)Demonstrated experience working on collaborative research requiring statistical consulting. (Required)Demonstrated experience integrating and analyzing large data sets, with a minimum 200 records, from multiple sources such as surveys, the census, and administrative data files. (Required)Demonstrated experience working independently to perform tasks, conducting investigations and problem solving. (Required)Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate in oral and written English communications with all levels of an organization which may include principal investigators, project managers, co-workers of equal stature and subordinate staff. (Required)Demonstrated experience completing multiple projects simultaneously with shifting priorities, deadlines and circumstances; experience must demonstrate organizational skills involving development of tracking systems, prioritizing job duties, and tracking each assignment to a satisfactory completion (Required)Evidence of statistical analyses demonstrating attention to details and a high degree of accuracy.
