Overview
Endicott College is a recognized leader in international education and global engagement. The Global Education Office (GEO) is seeking a dynamic and student-focused International Student & Marketing Advisor to support international student services and lead marketing initiatives that promote the College’s global programs and partnerships.
This dual-focus position plays a pivotal role in shaping the international student experience while elevating the visibility of Endicott’s global offerings through creative, strategic marketing and communications. The successful candidate will be an interculturally fluent professional with a background in marketing communications, strong social media acumen, and a commitment to student service and global education.
Key Responsibilities
International Student Services (50%)
Serve as a Designated School Official (DSO) and Alternate Responsible Officer (ARO) for F-1 and J-1 students and scholars.
Provide individualized advising and support to international students regarding immigration, cultural adjustment, academic success, and campus integration.
Monitor, manage, and report student records through SEVIS and ensure institutional compliance with federal regulations.
Support international student programming, orientation, and cultural events that promote inclusion and community.
Marketing & Communications (30%)
Develop and execute a robust marketing strategy to promote GEO programs, including study abroad, international internships, faculty-led travel, and global partnerships.
Curate and manage GEO’s presence on multiple social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.), ensuring consistent branding and storytelling.
Design digital and print content, including brochures, newsletters, presentations, and videos, in coordination with the College’s marketing team.
Support Global Education Office Initiatives (20%)
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; preferred fields include Marketing, Communication, Public Relations, International Education, or related disciplines.
Experience in higher education, marketing, or international programs.
Demonstrated proficiency in social media management, content creation, and digital marketing tools.
Previous experience studying or working abroad required.
Familiarity with SEVIS, F-1/J-1 visa regulations, and immigration processes is a plus (training will be provided).
U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident (required for SEVIS access).
Strong intercultural communication and advising skills.
Excellent writing, visual communication, and project management abilities.
