Position SummaryWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Storeroom Administrator to join our amazing team at Life Sciences Administration (LSA). If you thrive in a supportive operational role, we want to hear from you! In this pivotal position, you'll be tasked with a variety of essential tasks such as package verification, mail distribution, office relocations, equipment maintenance, allied support, and providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications Working knowledge of University policies, regulations, and procedures regarding hazardous waste safety and equipment. (Preferred) 1. Interpersonal skills to maintaining cooperative and effective working relationships with faculty, students, and other administrators. (Required)2. Skill in speaking clearly and distinctly, using appropriate vocabulary and grammar. Ability to communicate effectively. (Required)3. Ability to function as a team member or act independently as required by the circumstances. (Required)4. Skill in performing under the stress of frequent interruptions and/or distraction of the storerooms daily operations. (Required)5. Demonstrated skill in setting priorities which accurately reflect varying levels of importance of multiple work assignments. (Required)6. Skill in working independently and following through on tasks with minimal supervision. (Required)7. Skill in writing clear, concise, logical and grammatically correct business correspondence. (Required)8. Basic mathematical skills for computations to calculate charges and percentages. (Required)9. Working knowledge of MS Access, Excel, modem communication software, and other related PC software. (Required)10. General knowledge in the maintenance of copy machines. (Required)11. Ability to analyze, evaluate, and manage working inventories of a diverse life sciences laboratory nature. (Required)12. Ability to assess situations and problems, identify solutions and refer to supervisor as necessary. (Required)
