Position SummaryUnder supervision of the Associate Dean of Students, the Hearings and Conduct coordinator assist in managing/coordinating student hearings activities and writes reports summarizing the matters under consideration and the Student Conduct Committee's findings. The incumbent assists with recruiting and training volunteers for the conduct committee, group conduct board, and the volunteer advisor program. The incumbent coordinates the appeals process, helps students with the grievance process, as is a back-up Hearing Administrator and Coordinator. The Conduct Coordinator serves as an Advisor to students in student adjudication processes. Work assigned requires full knowledge of the professional objectives and activities of the University, the Student Affairs Organization, and student development theory.

QualificationsAnalytical skills to review documents, information, situations and procedures, to identify discrepancies or potential problems; generate alternatives, offer solutions, and discern when action of higher level is needed. (Required)Demonstrated skill in assessing timelines and coordinating numerous assignments and projects simultaneously under heavy and constantly fluctuating workloads and conflicting deadlines. (Required)Ability to work independently, organize work, appropriately set priorities and handle several projects simultaneously, and adapt to frequent schedule changes and interruptions.
